About Us

Two things inspired me to form AOK. First, most of us are now being called knowledge workers or knowledge managers and there is no association for knowledge workers and managers . . . together. Second, traditional associations don't fit the present or future of a changing world.

AOK is organized in the same way we want your workplace to be -- an environment without cultural, political, professional or structural boundaries; where workers and managers at all levels can think together, drawing on the rich and diverse backgrounds, training and work experience previously confined to the information silos and narrowly defined jobs of the former Industrial Age.

• This is the Knowledge Age.
• You are engaged in knowledge work.
• AOK is your association.

AOK won't be your only association; but, it will be the association that finally fits your special knowledge and experience into the interdisciplinary pie of the new open work environment.
